Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) employs a staff of 120+ licensed and unlicensed engineers to maintain and support a wide variety of helicopter and fixed wing aircraft types. Total technical support staffing exceeds 250 personnel.
Helicopter Pilots:
ADA’s experienced pilots (11,000 hrs. average) all maintain unrestricted ICAO ATPL(H) licenses.
Pilot applicants that qualify for employment are given a thorough screening.
Priority is given to those individuals that also possess long-line, offshore, multi-engine, spray and EMS experience. Our minimum qualifications are:
Unrestricted ATPL (helicopter)
Valid Class 1 Medical
3500 hours in helicopter (1200 as PIC)
100 hours night (15 in helicopter as PIC)
75 hours instrument (50 in helicopter as PIC)
Experience in Twin Engine Bell Medium Helicopters
Fixed Wing Pilot:
ADA’s fixed wing experienced pilots all maintain unrestricted ICAO ATPL (H) licenses.
Pilot applicants that qualify for employment are given a thorough screening.
Aircraft Commander:
Valid ICAO ATPL
DHC 8 Type Rating
Valid Class1 Medical (ICAO, FAA, CAA)
Experience (not less than)
Total time - 3,500 hrs.
Pilot in command (DHC-8) - 1,000 hrs.
First Officer:
Valid ICAO CPL (Multi / IFR)
DHC 8 Type Rating
Valid Class 1 Medical (ICAO, FAA, CAA)

Total time - 1,500 hrs.
2nd in command (DHC-8) - 500 hrs.
